After Hours Rub Down + More

1. After Hours Rub Down

2. Preliminary Sketches For After Hours Rub Down

3. Oak In Afternoon ( colored pencil version )

1. By the time that I was working on the " After Hours Rub Down " comic strip, I reminded myself, that each panel is an individual drawing. I thought that combining smaller drawings on one sheet of paper, would save me a lot of time, compared to creating bigger, separate drawings, in a series. I found out the hard way, that just as much time and work is required. So, I just practiced having more patience, and took my time. I thought of each panel as an individual piece, that is combined with other drawings to tell a complete story. This was still frustrating at times, because I am used to getting more art done at a faster pace. but, the quality and detail of each piece has been enhanced, because of my being more patient and strategic with the ideas that I create.
