I have been drawing trees exclusively in the past months. This is caused by my spiritual transformation. I want to express a more universal experience, regarding my perspectives on life. The male body does not give me such ideas as a tree does. I no longer experience bouts of intense lust, as before. And my heart desires to experience love and compassion. I am not interested in expressing ideas of sex as before. My body of work has explored these ideas numerous times. And I do not mind that it is a part of my legacy as an artist. My lynching series is also included in my artistic contributions. But trees define my current mental, emotional and spiritual existence.
